The Woes of Academia
My being sick has set me back alot, sadly, and I'm having trouble keeping up... That hasn't really happened to me before, really. I walk around in perpetual tension now. I have a heap of homework I don't even know how to do piled on top of projects and assigned readings.
Know what I think right now? Fuck academia, they can take their homework and shove it. I was busy puking my guts out while they were prancing around like the intellectual authorities they are. My absence wasn't a reprieve from the smart boards and $1,000 lab equipment, it was the worst kind of hell after appendicitis. Suffering shouldn't bring about more suffering like this.

I was sick for 1 day this semester and it got counted as 11 absences.

In a total, by the end of my school life, I will be absent an entire school year,
if it comes to that.
I'm like 90 days in.

I rarely get sick and in total, have only missed school 3 or 4 times.
