Tragedy....

It was 9/11 yesterday. The birthday of airplane security. I was thinking of asking about a tragedy you guys overcame in your life, but that's probably been asked too many times to count on this day. Many countries took heed this day and implemented security that was previously plain weak or non existent. Simply put, they made the best of a bad situation. What about you? Do you tend to try to better yourself or a situation when tragedy hits, or do you let it wash over?
