I just got my very first Amber Alert.

Basically, my phone did the vibrate thing, and I was like "Ugh, who the hell is calling now?"
AND THEN THIS MESSAGE CAME UP,
AND IT WAS LIKE "THERE WAS A MULTIPLE CHILD ABDUCTION IN YOUR AREA."
And all these sirens went off,
and ugh, what the fuck is wrong with people? Who the fuck kidnaps children?
That's just sick.
Yeah, for me a whole message came on my phone as well.
And it scares me, since the symbol for it is the same as a national emergency sort of thing. I mean, Amber Alerts are just as scary, but still.
What an eventful night.
