Likes: New Currency or Ephemeral Fad?
Any social networking site that's anything has it; a like system. Most liked stuff gets featured on top of youtube comment lists, and others can even get you paid. Is this just something that will die out, or are thumbs up, likes, +1's, and everything inbtween here to stay?

I've actually grown to like it a bit. The google plus interface allows me to see all my historical comments and their likes. I've got a good comment-like ratio.

I still hate it and in the beginning, everyone found it hard to adapt to.
